Today we’re all living in the technology era. I, myself, am guilty of being self-reliant on my phone and laptop sometimes. We shouldn’t be caught up on what the world has to offer, but put our focus to where it really belongs — to God. When something or someone hinders you from your walk with God and it starts to become your priority, then it can turn into idolatry. According to dictionary.com,

idolatry: excessive or blind adoration, reverence, devotion

Don’t let these knickknack and gadgets have you addicted to them, but instead be addicted to God.
